My name is Derek. I'm an aspiring pianist living in San Diego, California, attending San Diego Mesa College as a music major.

I spend most of my life practicing to be a better pianist, which actually includes a lot more than practicing piano, most notably ear training.
Besides that, I do a lot of thinking. Mostly about politics and religion, but really about anything that comes to mind.
